Bethany Christian Services in the United States seeks a Family Psychotherapist to provide individual and group therapy using Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). The role supports families across programs, collaborating with DCFS partners and maintaining strict confidentiality.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a related field, active licensure in the state, and at least one year of trauma-focused therapy experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Counseling, Psychology or related field.
• Obtain and maintain appropriate professional licensure in the state of work.
• At least 1 year of experience providing individual and group therapy to trauma-exposed clients.
• Bilingual English and Spanish strongly preferred.
• Active licensure in the state of the work location.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with children and families from diverse cultures.
• Competency in Child-Parent Psychotherapy.
• Ability to provide compassionate customer service and maintain confidentiality.
• Must be able to work independently and drive reliability and trust.
• Familiarity with MS Office and information management systems.

Responsabilités

• Provide individual counseling sessions using CPP and CBT.
• Conduct activity monitoring to ensure timely processing.
• Facilitate weekly CPP groups with referred families.
• Provide feedback to staff through clinical reports.
• Coordinate external consultations with DCFS, case workers, and partners.
• Handle phone calls and routing.
• Utilize information management systems per policy.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings as required.
• Complete program documentation on time; adhere to agency standards.
• Stay compliant with agency, federal, and state requirements.
• Flex duties based on program needs; may participate in events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
