Nienhuis Financial Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage month-end and year-end closings, tax returns, reconciliations, and budgeting for faith-based clients. You will prepare and analyze financial records, compile statements, and ensure compliance while maintaining confidentiality.

The role requires strong accounting skills, ERP experience, and willingness to travel within-state to client locations. Excellent communication and leadership abilities are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of related experience including customer service.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong Excel and accounting software proficiency.
• Willingness to travel in-state; day travel.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred.

Mansioni

• Prepares consolidated financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and departments.
• Closes client financials monthly, quarterly, or annual as required.
• Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information.
• Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts.
• Prepares payments by accruing expenses; assigning account numbers; requesting disbursements; reconciling accounts.
• Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures, recommending changes.
• Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
• Protects client’s value by keeping information confidential.
• Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
