Job summary

Genesis Family Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a fully licensed or associate-licensed therapist to join a biblically based nonprofit team.

Qualifications

• Licensed therapist in Texas (BHEC), provisionally licensed in final year allowed.
• Interest in Biblically Based Mental Health Counseling rooted in faith.
• Willing to provide both in-person and telehealth sessions.
• Comfort working with diverse ages and groups.
• Willing to work Saturdays initially; weekend flexibility.
• Aligned with the organization’s mission and faith statement.
• Starting salary range $4,583.30–$6,600 per month for 40 hours.
• Minimum 24 hours per week.
• 15 days PTO per year (pro-rated).

• Supervision paid for associates (>32 hours).

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health care to clients.
• See about 5–6 clients per day, up to 30 per week.
• Conduct hour-long sessions and complete daily notes.
• Handle administrative duties and documentation.
