Faith-Based Fundraising Consultant – Atlantic Region

Location: D.C., Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, West Virginia

Department: Consulting

Work Type: Full-time

This role involves planning and managing fundraising campaigns for Catholic dioceses and parishes across the Atlantic Region. The consultant will collaborate with onsite campaign executives, pastors, parish staff, and volunteers to execute a phased, highly structured campaign plan, working Monday–Friday with regular evenings and occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Implement campaign work plans, timelines, and customized materials
• Manage, motivate, and train groups of volunteers
• Track, measure, and analyze fundraising progress
• Coach key leaders on fundraising best practices
• Contribute insights into industry‑wide philanthropic trends
• Work on‑site at Catholic parishes Monday–Friday, with regular evening hours and occasional weekend commitments based on parish needs

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to temporarily relocate within the Atlantic Region for assignments and work on‑site, including regular nights and occasional weekends
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with all levels of staff, volunteers, donors, and prospective donors
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Great storytelling and strong public speaking skills
• Strong business sense demonstrated in a professional or academic environment
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team‑based environment
• Commitment to supporting volunteer efforts to enhance campaign experience through personal connection to mission
• Strong business acumen
• Computer proficiencyExcellent quantitative analytical skills
• Spanish language proficiency a plus
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a motor vehicle
