LiveOnNY is seeking a Faith-Based Community Liaison in New York to advance organ, eye, and tissue donation awareness within faith communities. You will build relationships with faith leaders, organize interfaith events, and deliver culturally sensitive education while traveling as needed.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years in community organizing with diverse groups; healthcare exposure is preferred. The role supports the marketing team and collaborates with hospital partners as needed.
Supports the implementation of community engagement strategies with a specialized focus on faith-based communities. Serves as a frontline ambassador for LiveOnNY, cultivating relationships with faith leaders and congregations to advance organ, eye, and tissue donation awareness. This role combines outreach expertise with cultural sensitivity, ensuring programs reflect organizational priorities and foster trust within diverse religious communities. The Faith-Based Community Liaison is expected to adhere to all organizational policies and applicable regulatory obligations, stewardship of resources, confidentiality, and ethical conduct, and to devote all professional time to the performance of the responsibilities of this job description and remain available to fulfill management responsibilities inside and outside standard business hours as LiveOnNY’s needs dictate.
