The University of New Hampshire's Fairchild Dairy Center seeks an Adjunct Hourly Worker to milk, feed, and care for dairy cattle and calves. You will supervise adjunct hourly and student workers and cover shifts when needed, including mornings and late afternoons, with some weekend work.

Based in Durham, NH, this on-site position offers hourly compensation and a chance to contribute to a busy research and teaching dairy operation within a Carnegie-classified university.

Job description

The position involves milking, feeding and care of dairy cattle and calves at the Fairchild Dairy Center. You will be working with adjunct hourly and student workers to accomplish the tasks. The dairy operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year no matter what the weather. Shifts consist of 4-8am and/or 2:30-6:30pm and involves some weekend work.
