Hyve Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Failure Analysis Technician to support manufacturing and customer service by reproducing field failures and driving issues to closure. You will perform PCBA- and component-level FA to identify root causes using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, thermal imaging, X-ray, and related equipment.
One year of industry experience is typical, with a BS in engineering or computer science a plus.

Hyve Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven Failure Analysis Technician with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment.
Provide support to manufacturing and customer service teams, replicating and troubleshooting field failures. Drive technical issues to closure by working with internal and field engineers to identify, track, root cause, and resolve issues. Perform PCBA-level troubleshooting and component-level FA to identify root causes of hardware failures. Use diagnostic equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, thermal imaging cameras, X-ray, and others. Troubleshot power delivery issues, signal integrity problems, and component defects on hyperscale servers. Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal teams in support of overall company objectives.
One year of equivalent industry experience. BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science is a plus.
Works on problems of moderate scope. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships. Comfortable in a fast-moving business and team environment Excellent communication skills—written and verbal. Attention to detail and process. Self-starter and highly motivated.
Extensive use of computer equipment, and frequent telephone activity. Periods of extended sitting, walking, and standing are required. Activities such as bending and occasionally lifting to 40 pounds. Employees must be physically capable of completing and satisfying all training requirements as stipulated by Company policy.
