Masimo Corporation is seeking a skilled failure analysis engineer to isolate root causes for customer returns, new products, and prototypes. You will work with Compliance, Regulatory, R&D, Operations and QA to understand failures and identify product improvements.

The role emphasizes circuit and component level troubleshooting, use of advanced testing methods, and collaboration across teams to resolve issues efficiently. Requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years of experience in quality control or medical devices.
• Knowledge of ISO-9000 requirements.
• Experience with electrical testing and test equipment.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Experience with data entry and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis using engineering principles to tackle issues with Masimo products.
• Analyze and troubleshoot electronic circuits at system and component level.
• Investigate products using analytical instruments and various testing techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reproduce failure modes.
• Track and trend product failures to generate reports with engineering teams.
• Document significant findings with photographs or samples for QA and operations.
