Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials Science, or related field.
• 3–5 years in failure analysis within electronics or semiconductor industries.
• Proven expertise in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Hands-on experience with SEM, EDX, and XRF.
• Familiarity with reliability testing and environmental stress screening.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data interpretation skills.
• Proficiency in laboratory equipment and failure analysis software tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and in team settings.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in failure analysis and quality assurance.

As a Failure Analysis Engineer, you will play a key role in improving product reliability and performance by investigating and resolving product failures. You’ll lead root cause analysis, develop preventive solutions, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure customer satisfaction.

The client is open to candidates of the following experience levels:

Level 1: 0-1 years of experience (new grads): $60K - $65K/year.

Level 2: 1 - 5 years of experience: $65K - $75K/year

Level 3: 5+ years of experience: $75K - $85K/year.

Responsibilities:

• Perform in-depth failure analysis on electronic components and systems to identify root causes of defects.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to assess failures and prepare detailed reports.
