Job summary

Brown University Health seeks a licensed psychologist to evaluate and treat patients, providing comprehensive psychological assessment and psychotherapy under general supervision of the clinical director. There is potential for a faculty appointment through Alpert Medical School, with teaching and supervision of trainees if applicable. Typical hours are M-F 8-5 at LPG Providence, RI.

Qualifications

• PhD in Clinical Psychology or the equivalent (e.g., PsyD, PhD or EdD in Counseling Psychology).
• Completion of an American Psychological Association accredited Internship.
• Postdoctoral Fellowship (minimum 1 year) if required by state of licensure.
• Licensed to practice as a Psychologist in the State of Rhode Island or eligible for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with psychological services including assessment and psychotherapy.
• Assist with Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance Initiatives consistent with Brown University Health principles.
• Possible teaching and supervision of trainees if a faculty appointment is obtained.
