This position is jointly employed by The University of Kansas Medical Center and The University of Kansas Health System and supports the clinical, educational, research, and service missions of both institutions. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the faculty member actively participates in the education and mentorship of learners, including medical students, residents, fellows, and other trainees. The individual also contributes to departmental and divisional academic activities through teaching, scholarly engagement, committee service, and other activities that advance the missions of the department, division, and institution.## **Job Description:****Job Duties:*** Provide specialized clinical, educational, and/or research services within area of expertise using current, evidence-based practices and techniques.* Deliver comprehensive services across clinical settings, classroom environments, or a combination thereof.* Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams, research groups, academic programs, and institutional partners to support patient care, program development, innovation, and scholarly activity.* Contribute to the education, training, and mentorship of learners, including students, trainees, and other designated groups.* Participate in departmental and divisional meetings, case conferences, teaching rounds, seminars, and other academic activities as assigned.* Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain expertise in their area of specialization, including clinical practice, procedural skills, teaching, and/or research focus.This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
