Eligibility and Qualifications
- Doctoral‑level degree in medicine (MD, DO)
- Board certified or board eligible in the relevant pediatric specialty
- Qualified for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Meeting the minimum credentials for the pediatric specialty to provide clinical service
- Demonstrated academic progress/contributions in the pediatric specialty (see rank requirements below)
Responsibilities
Provide patient care, teaching, and research as determined by the division chairman and chief.
Rank Requirements
- Assistant Professor – 1 to 6 years of experience with demonstrated academic progress
- Associate Professor – 7 to 10 years of experience with significant academic contributions
- Professor – 10 or more years of experience with clear leadership, academic excellence, and innovation
