About the Job

The Department of Integrative Biology and Physiology and the University of Minnesota Medical School invite applications for tenure-track faculty positions in all areas of biomedical science. We seek outstanding scientists who will establish a competitive extramurally funded research program focusing on studies from an integrative molecular to systems physiology perspective.

Areas of particular interest include cellular and molecular metabolism, cardiovascular and muscle biology, aging biology, stress and endocrinology, immunometabolism, and sterile inflammation. Successful applicants will align with and further enrich the department's expertise in metabolic, diabetes-related, cardiovascular, skeleto-muscular, inflammatory, and aging-associated diseases. Investigators with a focus on systems or computational biology are also eligible if their research integrates animal models of human disease.

We offer exceptional start-up support, a dynamic environment, state-of-the-art facilities, a competitive salary, and quality research space. Teaching responsibilities may include undergraduate, graduate, and medical student instruction.
