The UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, in collaboration with departments across UNC, seeks outstanding candidates for faculty positions at all ranks in basic and translational cancer research. We are recruiting scientists in molecular, cellular, and computational areas relevant to cancer etiology, progression, metastasis, and therapy.
Female candidates and those from underrepresented groups are especially encouraged to apply. Areas of interest include microbiome and cancer, animal models, signaling, systems biology, cancer genetics/genomics/epigenetics, tumor virology, immunology, therapeutics development, and gene editing.
Applicants should have a strong record of recent accomplishments or sustained productivity. Appointment and rank will depend on qualifications. We encourage applications by December 15th, 2024.
Doctoral degree with postdoctoral research experience is preferred.
