Overview

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at WashU Medicine invites applications for a full-time, investigator-track faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor as part of the WashU-Women’s Reproductive Health Research: Gateway to Improving Women’s Reproductive Health K12 program. Outstanding individuals with a track-record in basic, clinical, or translational research focused on the biomedical and biobehavioral aspects of women’s reproductive health are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Establish a dynamic, interactive, extramurally-funded research program and contribute to education by teaching or supervising post-doctoral, graduate and undergraduate trainees, medical students, residents, and clinical fellows.
  • Engage in scholarly activities as assigned by the Department.
  • Comply with NIH K12 program requirements, devoting a minimum of 75% full-time professional effort (or 50% for surgical specialties) to research and career development activities supported by this program.
  • Join a vibrant, multidisciplinary research community with access to state-of-the-art facilities and experienced mentors.

  • MD, DO, or equivalent degree with completed postgraduate residency in obstetrics and gynecology.
  • Strong record of academic productivity and commitment to a research career.

Applicants will be considered for the WRHR faculty track and supported by an accomplished group of mentors as part of the K12 program. The applicant will also have access to WashU Medicine resources and collaborators.
