Job Description

We are recruiting highly motivated individuals, committed to clinical excellence, to join our growing Hospitalist Medicine Program as a member of the clinical faculty.

Our Hospitalist Program is set in a world-class medical environment and allows for hands on patient experiences covering a full range of hematology and oncologic diagnosis. As an integral member of the hospitalist team, the faculty member will be responsible for working with the nursing staff, advanced practice practitioners, primary oncologists, and subspecialty physicians to ensure quality clinical care for St. Jude patients.

In the hospitalist role, faculty have flexible schedules with a mixture of clinical shift types. Opportunities exist for clinical research, quality and patient safety initiatives, and clinical education. The environment provides ample opportunities for teaching and education of trainees.

Faculty appointments are housed in the Department that aligns best with a candidate’s area of clinical/research focus.

The offered faculty rank will be determined based on the chosen candidate’s qualifications. An Associate Program Director position is available to an interested and experienced candidate.

Successful candidates will have an MD (or equivalent) degree and be board certified/board eligible in pediatric hematology/oncology. Candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Tennessee and maintain active unrestricted privileges at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
