The Department of Medicine (DoM), the largest clinical department at MSK, includes experts in solid tumor oncology, hematologic malignancies, subspecialty medicine, and supportive and acute care. It offers services across multiple NYC sites and suburban locations within our Regional Care Network (RCN), serving areas from Southern New Jersey to Eastern Long Island, providing high-quality care and access to clinical trials.
The Dermatology Service within the Division of Subspecialty Medicine seeks an exceptional academic dermatologist at any rank, focusing on oncodermatology and consultative dermatology. The team comprises over 20 full-time faculty delivering care in Manhattan and across MSK’s network, renowned for leadership in dermato-oncology and oncodermatology. The department features multispecialty teams for melanoma, complex non-melanoma skin cancers, and cutaneous lymphoma, along with clinics for GVHD and wound care, and advanced dermatology imaging technologies.
The research portfolio includes optical engineering, AI, basic and translational science, epidemiology, and clinical trials, supported by over $5 million annually from NIH, foundations, industry, and philanthropy. The team includes a dedicated epidemiologist/biostatistician and dermatology-specific informatics.
The ideal candidate has a vibrant research program in academic dermatology with a clinical focus on oncodermatology. Leadership skills, strategic vision, team science promotion, and mentorship are desired. The candidate should be a physician-scientist skilled in clinical care, understanding disease biology, developing therapies, and conducting clinical trials.
