Job Description
Assistant Attending, Clinician Researcher, Thoracic Oncology Service

The Department of Medicine at MSK, the largest clinical department, encompasses experts in solid tumor oncology, hematologic malignancies, and supportive care. It offers services across New York City and regional locations. Visit the Department of Medicine webpage for more info.

The Thoracic Oncology Service (https://www.mskcc.org/cancer-care/types/lung) seeks a full-time Clinician Researcher (Clinical/Translational) at the Assistant Attending level or higher, focusing on patient care, education, and research at our NYC and regional sites. Candidates should have excellent clinical and interpersonal skills, be critical thinkers, motivated, empathetic, and team players. Our team of over 20 thoracic oncologists treats patients with various thoracic malignancies, including lung cancers, mesothelioma, thymic cancers, and neuroendocrine tumors. The service supports extensive clinical and translational research. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in medical oncology.

Key Requirements

Salary Range: $274,000 - $520,000
