Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Academic Clinician, Assistant Attending Physician, Breast Medicine Service

The largest of MSK’s clinical departments, the Department of Medicine, encompasses experts in solid tumor oncology, hematologic malignancies, subspecialty medicine, and supportive and acute care services. Offering services at multiple sites in New York City and suburban outpatient locations within our Regional Care Network (RCN), DoM physicians oversee comprehensive patient care. Refer to the Department of Medicine web page for additional information about the department and its services.

The Breast Medicine Service, within the Division of Solid Tumor Oncology of the Department of Medicine, is seeking a full-time Academic Clinician at the Assistant Attending level or higher. The position focuses on patient care, education, and research at our Commack location (650 Commack Road). The Breast Medicine Service specializes in multidisciplinary care for patients with all types of Breast Cancer. Responsibilities include clinical expertise in patient care, clinical research, and teaching/training. Candidates should possess excellent clinical and interpersonal skills, be critical thinkers, highly motivated, empathetic, and team-oriented.

Key Requirements:

1. MD, DO, or equivalent.
2. Board eligible or certified in Medical Oncology.
3. Eligible for New York and/or New Jersey State License.
4. Certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Child Abuse Identification & Reporting.

Salary Range: $274,000.00 - $520,000.00
