The Division of General Internal Medicine in the Department ofMedicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University ofPennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professorpositions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicantsmust have an M.D. degree. Board certified/eligible in InternalMedicine is required.

Teaching responsibilities may include precepting residents andinterns throughout their General Medicine rotations. Successfulcandidates will also have the opportunity to participate in UME orGME educational programs. The academic clinician track requires 100credits per year of active and high-quality teaching.

Clinical responsibilities may include sessions providing directpatient care in one of our ambulatory sites, Edward S. Cooper, PennInternal Medicine University City, Penn Center for Primary Care,Pennsylvania Hospital Wood Clinic. Clinical responsibilities mayalso include serving as inpatient attending at the Hospital of theUniversity of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center orPennsylvania Hospital. Providing after hours phone coverage mayalso be included.
