Job summary

The University of Illinois at Chicago Department of Surgery seeks a full-time vascular surgeon to provide the full breadth of vascular surgery services.

The Faculty/Physician Surgeon will be responsible for providing patient care and teaching for the Division of Vascular Surgery.

Duties include teaching medical students, residents and fellows in Vascular Surgery; providing clinical patient care; participating in clinical research; and performing administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• MD degree or foreign equivalent.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in vascular surgery.
• Illinois medical license or eligibility to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist the department with teaching medical students, residents, and fellows in Vascular Surgery.
• Provide clinical patient care.
• Participate in clinical research.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned.

Salary: The budgeted salary range for the position is $375,000 to $575,000. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.
