The Department of Pediatrics and the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at the University of Minnesota are seeking a board-certified/eligible pediatric hepatologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank. The candidate will join a team of six full-time faculty and two nurse practitioners providing comprehensive care in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition.
The successful candidate will:
Board-certified or eligible pediatric hepatologist with advanced training in hepatology, including clinical experience in hepatology and/or transplant hepatology.
The division has a longstanding pediatric liver transplant program, a recognized pediatric pancreatology program, and ongoing research in gastrointestinal diseases, cystic fibrosis, and autoimmune hepatitis. The division is involved in the Rare Disease program at the University of Minnesota.
