Job summary

Banner University Medical Group Tucson Campus invites BC/BE Gastroenterologists with GI motility expertise to join a multidisciplinary motility program. You will manage outpatient motility clinics, inpatient consults, and endoscopy as appropriate, with access to high-resolution manometry and other diagnostic tools.

You will collaborate with GI colleagues, surgery, interventional radiology, and oncology, and have opportunities for leadership, clinical development, and research within a regional

• Fellowship-trained motility candidates strongly preferred and will require a certificate and/or letters of recommendations documenting expertise.
• Newly graduated fellows and experienced attendings encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient consult and call responsibilities with equitable rotation.

About this Opportunity

The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Arizona and Banner University Medical GroupTucson is seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist with training/experience ingastrointestinal motility disorders. Ideal candidates will have completed advanced fellowship training inGI motilitywith experience managing complex disorders of gutbrain interaction, including esophageal, gastric, intestinal, and anorectal disorders.

The selected physician will join a multidisciplinary motility program supported by gastroenterologists, advanced practice providers, specialized nursing, and ancillary staff, with access to comprehensive diagnostic modalities including high-resolution manometry, pH-impedance testing, anorectal manometry, and breath testing.

The motility practice serves as a regional referral center for the Southwestand represents a unique opportunity to establish and expand a comprehensive motility program within Banner Health. The candidate may step into an existing referral base and develop a robust motility-focused clinical practice from the outset, with significant opportunity for regional and national impact.

• BC/BE in Gastroenterology required
