Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Heart and Vascular Center Service Line of Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist & Wake Forest University School of Medicine is seeking candidates for a full-time faculty position in the section of Non-Invasive Cardiology. Candidates with a particular interest and/or specialty training in multimodality imaging including peri-procedural imaging are preferred. Candidates should be at least Level 2 trained in the performance and interpretation of transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms. Training in interpretation of nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, and/or cardiac MRI studies would be a valuable additional expertise. Additionally, experience with intraprocedural transesophageal echocardiography is preferred. This position includes teaching of residents and fellows with ample opportunities for research. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.

  • MD/DO
  • BC/BE
  • Fellowship trained
  • Successful record of clinical and service excellence, research experience, and interest in graduate medical education
  • North Carolina licensure or eligible
  • Rank commensurate with credentials and experience
