University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) seeks faculty in inherited retinal degenerations at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank to establish a Center of Excellence.

The successful candidate will lead a vibrant research program focused on IRDs, including enhanced S-cone syndrome, stem cell biology, and regenerative therapies, with emphasis on high‑resolution imaging and disease modeling using patient‑derived organoids.

Formación

• PhD, MD, or MD/PhD with at least 3 years postdoctoral experience and evidence of extramural funding.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain a substantial research program in inherited retinal degenerations.
• Engage in education of medical students, residents and fellows.
• Collaborate with UCSF and Bay Area colleagues on translational retinal therapies.
