Schedule: Full-time / Day shift (Monday–Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.)

The role you’ll contribute:

The Faculty Lab Clinical Instructor coordinates and manages the Nursing Department’s skills lab and supports simulation learning experiences. Responsibilities include ensuring the effective operation of the lab, assessing and meeting program and student needs, and ensuring the safe and effective use of skills and simulation equipment. The role involves maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment, working with students in skills practice, demonstration, simulation, and remediation, as well as teaching in the Department of Nursing.

• Provide lectures, laboratory instruction, and clinical simulation experiences aligned with nursing skills education.
• Plan and teach lab experiences for students.
• Assist in lab simulations, testing, and maintenance/upgrades.
• Collaborate with faculty and simulation team to create, revise, and update clinical simulation activities in accordance with curriculum objectives.
• Prepare equipment, supplies, and set up for laboratory and simulation activities.
• Design, conduct, and debrief nursing simulations.
• Schedule and maintain remediation and open-lab hours for students.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Education and Experience Required:
• Master's degree in Nursing
• Minimum two (2) years recent clinical experience

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required:

• Current unrestricted Florida RN License or Multi-State RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
