About the Faculty Instructor - Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Position
The Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin and Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas (DCMCCT) seeks qualified candidates for a one or two year faculty instructor position in pediatric cardiac surgery. Dell Children’s Medical Center and Dell Medical School have launched the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease. This instructor position offers the opportunity to work with internationally-recognized physician leaders.
Candidates will possess experience in caring for children with complex congenital and acquired heart disease. Primary responsibilities will include provision of direct care to patients prior to, during, and after cardiac surgery. The candidate will be looking to advance his/her knowledge in Congenital Heart Surgery and patient care management. Opportunities for collaboration with medical and adjunct specialties will be encouraged to allow for the pursuit of innovative program development and clinical research initiatives.
