Job summary

AJANTA CONSULTING, LLC is seeking a Faculty Development Coordinator at Wright Patterson AFB, OH to deliver education and training, manage instructor qualifications, and support accreditation and program performance. You will collaborate with QA managers, course directors, and USAFSAM staff to design, evaluate, and improve training across 75 occupational specialties.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in education, instructional design, curriculum development, organizational development, or related field with relevant experience.
  • Experience managing a higher education faculty development program with instructor qualifications or QA responsibilities.
  • Team-based collaboration with multiple stakeholders (program managers, SMEs, leadership).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with QA program managers, course directors, instructors, and USAFSAM Office of the Dean to support Annual Course activities.
  • Review course effectiveness, ensure training integrity, and instructor proficiency as directed.
  • Develop, design, and deliver education and training for USAFSAM instructors.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional, accrediting, and regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Attend training/meetings as directed by government representatives.
  • Coordinate and execute complex educational initiatives and special projects.
  • Write continuity documents, partner with colleges or service partners, and present at eLearning events.
  • Communicate deliverables clearly to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Support EOC survey feedback to generate SMART action plans for improvement.
  • Support testing programs with students and instructors.
  • Support curriculum development and updates.
  • Review and maintain USAFSAM instructor qualifications to align with DoD/CCAF and related requirements.
  • Use instructor qualification tracking databases for data entry, troubleshooting, and reporting.
  • Evaluate program requirements with directors and leaders as directed.
  • Manage credentialing and evaluations for teaching staff.
  • Collaborate with CCAF as Affiliate School Liaison as directed.
  • Analyze data and develop reports on program compliance and performance.
  • Support other education and training duties as assigned.

THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON BID AWARD

The Faculty Development Coordinator delivers unparalleled capability to the Air Force through a combination of world class infrastructure and expertise of its diverse workforce of military, civilian and contractor personnel encompassing 75 occupational specialties including science and engineering, occupational health and safety, medical professions, technicians, educators, and business operations and support.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate on a team with the quality assurance program managers, course directors, other instructors, and USAFSAM Office of the Dean personnel to provide support for Annual Course
  • Review to evaluate course effectiveness, ensure the integrity of the training, and instructor proficiency as directed.
  • Develop, design, and deliver education and training professional development for the full spectrum of USAFSAM instructors.
  • Perform all duties associated with institutional, accrediting and regulatory agency policies and procedures.
  • Attend and participate in training and meetings as directed by the government representatives.
  • Manage, coordinate, and execute complex educational initiatives and special projects within their skillset.
  • Write continuity documents, collaborate with local colleges or multi-service partners, present at local eLearning symposiums, and define capabilities for potential customers.
  • Ensure all deliverable materials, briefings, and liaison efforts are conveyed through clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication to effectively engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Support the quality assurance program managers, course directors and course development managers, and other USAFSAM Office of the Dean personnel on resolving End of Course (EOC) survey feedback to develop SMART action plans used for course and instructional improvement.
  • Support testing programs with students and instructors testing.
  • Support curriculum development managers with course development and updates.
  • Support the Faculty Development programs by reviewing, updating, maintaining, and communicating USAFSAM instructor qualifications to ensure faculty are properly trained and remain fully qualified to teach and ensuring adherence to the Department of the Air Force, Community College of the Air Force (CCAF), USAFSAM, and other regulatory and policy requirements as directed.
  • Support the Faculty Development programs using the instructor qualification tracking database for data entry, troubleshooting the platform, and creating and analyzing reports regarding instructor qualification requirements as directed.
  • Support the Faculty Development, Quality Assurance, and Testing programs by evaluating, communicating, and tracking program requirements with course directors, instructors, USAFAM Office of the Dean personnel, and USAFSAM Department leaders as directed.
  • Support the Faculty Development programs by managing faculty/institutional credentialing programs to include evaluating educational programs, and faculty evaluations and effectiveness as directed.
  • Support USAFSAM Office of the Dean by working with CCAF as an Affiliate School Liaison as directed.
  • Analyze data and develop reports reflecting program compliance and performance metrics as directed.
  • Support other education and training mission-related duties as assigned within the USAFSAM Office of the Dean as directed.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design or curriculum development, organizational development, or related field with relevant experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years experience managing a higher education faculty development program such as managing instructor qualifications and/or a quality assurance program.
  • Minimum three (3) years experience working effectively in a team-based environment with multiple stakeholders (e.g., program managers, subject matter experts, and leadership).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification OR
  • Program Management Professional (PgMP) Certification OR
  • Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Proficient in Office 365 tools MS Windows, MS Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Publisher, MS Teams, MS Planner, MS Power BI, and Microsoft Forms
  • Ability to use databases or tracking systems for data entry, analysis, and report generation to inform program decisions
  • Experience with course evaluations, analyzing feedback (such as end-of-course surveys) and implementing improvement plans.
  • Familiar with Air Force Formal Training and educational accreditation and compliance.
  • Experience working within the Department of War (DoW), the Department of the Air Force, Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) educational or training environments as an instructor, administrator, or liaison
  • Experience managing instructor qualifications, conducting instructor evaluations, and providing professional development for teaching staff
