Oversee and coordinate all administrative and clerical support for Law School faculty members (5 or more) under the supervision of the Director of Faculty Affairs.
Bachelor's degree and three years of experience coordinating or administering a program. Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment. Excellent organizational abilities and oral and written communication skills. Excellent computer skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving experience. Professional demeanor and ability to work well with a wide variety of people.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Previous administrative experience in an academic setting, faculty support experience, UT accounting and travel policy knowledge.
$50,000 + depending on qualifications
May work around standard office conditions. Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation, use of manual dexterity. Lift and move standard office files and supplies. Wear appropriate office attire; accept supervision. Work hours may include occasional evenings, weekends and some holidays during peak periods to meet deadlines.
Regular staff who have been employed in their current position for the last six continuous months are eligible for openings being recruited for through University-Wide or Open Recruiting, to include both promotional opportunities and lateral transfers. Staff who are promotion/transfer eligible may apply for positions without supervisor approval.
The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
