Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a premier researcher to establish and lead a high-impact program at the intersection of mathematics, statistics, computer science, and data science for biology and health. The role encompasses advancing computational frameworks that fuse multimodal data, including genomics, proteomics, imaging, and spatiotemporalomics, with translational aims.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent degree required in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated ability or potential to conduct independent, transformative research.
• Strong publication record to attract external research funding.
• Compelling research vision bridging computational innovation with translational applications.
• Plan for fundraising from federal and other sources (philanthropy, foundations, etc.)
• Mentoring plan for postdocs and students at all levels
• Strong background in computational biology, statistics, machine learning/AI, or related field
• Passion for applying computational techniques to complex biological or medical problems
