Job summary

WSI Talent is hiring for Factory Molding Associates in Vicksburg, MI. The role involves setting up, operating molding equipment, and assisting with presses and mold changes.

You’ll fill hoppers, verify materials, and ensure packing supplies are ready at each station. The job requires reliability, safety compliance, and the ability to work on-site across 1st or 2nd shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet all day.
• Follow safety rules, wear PPE, and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate molding equipment and related machinery.
• Assist with presses, color/material changes, and mold changes.
• Fill hoppers with materials and ensure proper packing supplies at stations.
• Place finished products in designated Work-In-Process areas.
• Maintain clean, safe workstations and adhere to safety procedures.

Right now, we’re hiring for Factory Associates who can handle molding utility in our Vicksburg factory.

We offer Factory Molding Associates:

• Starting pay rates $18.34
• 1st shift, 2nd shift
• Associates are eligible to be hired in after just 320 hours worked
• A $100 bonus when you refer a friend to WSI

A typical day for our Molding Associates:

• Set up, operates, fills, empties, and identifies pre-dried hopers, grinders, and similar equipment
• Assists in operating presses including relief, set-up, color/material changes, and mold changes as necessary
• Fills hoppers with proper materials
• Ensures packing materials are at work stations as needed
• Ensures product is placed in designated Work-In-Process stores

Requirements for this Factory Molding Associate position are:

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• You don’t mind being on your feet for the day
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Good vision so you can qualify for a forklift license
• Steel toed footwear is a must
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs as needed for material changes
• Ability to wear PPE as needed / directed
• Follow company safety rules and procedures
• Work overtime as required and assigned
• Kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Using hands-on objects, tools or controls bending and twisting consistently throughout the work day
