Job summary

A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co. in Dubuque, IA is seeking an experienced machinist to set up and operate CNC and manual machines. You will load and unload production equipment, read blueprint drawings, and use calipers and gauges to verify part quality.

The role offers a starting wage of $24.34 per hour plus a $1.00 shift premium and a $2,000 retention bonus. A comprehensive benefits package is included and a pre-employment background check and drug screen are required. Equal opportunity employer.

This position will be responsible for setting up and operating both CNC and manual machine tools. Qualified applicants must have the ability to load and unload production equipment in a fast-paced work environment, read and understand blueprint drawings of parts and have the skills to utilize calipers, gauges and other measuring devices, to ensure parts meet quality standards. While also being able to assemble, test and, pack a variety of manufacturing products as required.

Wages start at $24.34 + $1.00 shift premium. $2,000 Retention Bonus!
