Job summary

Zep Inc. in Atlanta, GA is hiring a 1st shift Line Operator to support production lines with raw materials, inspections and packaging tasks. You will move materials, monitor batch codes and assist with changeovers and QC audits while following safety and housekeeping standards.

The role requires basic math, good English, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Prior line/operator experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand/walk up to 8 hours per shift.
• Prior Line Operator or manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of tasks to keep raw materials stocked on production lines.
• Inspect and provide raw materials to the line and check batch codes.
• May work at all line positions (triggers, packing, stacking, wrapping, inserting finished product into cartons).
• Conduct visual inspection of all products and assist in changeover, setup, and hourly QC audits.
• Report issues to Line Operator/Supervisor and follow safety/housekeeping standards.
• Practice lean principles and participate in events.
