Job summary

Rockwool Byhalia factory in Mississippi is seeking a Factory Controller to join the Finance Operations team. The role focuses on budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control for Rockfon Operations while reporting to the Director of Operations Finance.

This is an on-site position with strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, 3+ years in manufacturing, and exposure to standard costing, budgeting, forecasting, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with strong understanding of manufacturing business processes.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting and cost accounting principles.
• Experience with standard costing systems, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial data to initiate and support operating decisions and continuous improvement efforts.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and reporting for operations including VPC, maintenance costs and fixed costs.
• Generate operations reporting, conduct business analysis, reconciliation and forecasts; compare actual results to budget and prior years.
