Qualifications

  • Accounting degree or related field with 24 semester hours in accounting, including up to 6 hours business law.
  • Combination of education and experience: at least 4 years in accounting with one of the following: 24 accounting/audit hours; CPA/CIA certificate; or substantial accounting coursework with proven work in the field.
  • Education: 3 years of graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
  • Experience: at least 1 year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in accounting, auditing, or related fields.
  • Combination of Education and Experience: recognized if the above criteria are met.

Responsibilities

  • Use costing ratios and analysis to ensure accuracy of manufacturing and job order costing and cost allocation.
  • Assist with budgeting development and present projected operating levels to management.
  • Analyze operations results to evaluate production performance and pricing structures.

Education

Accounting degree with 24 semester hours in accounting (incl. up to 6 hours business law)
3 years of progressively higher-level graduate education toward Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
