Job summary

Teradyne is seeking a Factory Applications Engineer in Vermont to join the Solutions Integration Team. You will act as a technical leader across multiple domains, accelerating deployment by partnering with product engineering, field applications, and customers to deliver cohesive, scalable solutions.

You will define cross-application workflows, influence roadmaps, and build demonstrations while supporting deployments to achieve measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in semiconductor test, manufacturing software, factory automation, or related technical fields.
• Demonstrated technical leadership in complex, multi-disciplinary engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and test workflows.
• Experience integrating software applications, data flows, and manufacturing processes into complete solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Python, C#, .NET, or similar technologies.
• Ability to influence without authority and effectively lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including customer-facing technical presentations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical leader for cross-application Factory Applications solutions and integration strategies.
• Drive adoption of Factory Applications across global field teams through enablement, training, mentoring, and best-practice development.
• Partner with product development teams to define requirements, validate use cases, and influence product roadmaps from a system-level perspective.
• Identify and develop integrated workflows that span multiple Factory Applications products and customer manufacturing processes.
• Lead technical engagements with strategic customers and provide expert consultation on solution architecture and implementation.
• Collaborate with peer application experts to combine deep domain expertise into end-to-end customer solutions.
• Develop technical demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and reference architectures that showcase integrated Factory Applications capabilities.
• Support key design-ins and customer deployments, ensuring successful adoption and measurable business outcomes.
• Analyze customer workflows, manufacturing challenges, and data flows to recommend innovative solutions.
• Create and deliver technical presentations, training materials, and user guidance for internal and external audiences.
• Build strong relationships with worldwide account teams, field engineers, product managers, and engineering organizations.
• Track industry trends and emerging manufacturing technologies to identify future integration opportunities.
• Represent the voice of the customer in new product development and strategic planning discussions.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across cross-functional initiatives.
