Job summary

Solventum is seeking a FacOps Mechanical Integrity/Reliability Engineer in Brookings, SD to safeguard facilities and equipment used in healthcare operations. You will lead mechanical integrity tasks, manage pressure vessels, and advance PM/PdM programs to ensure safe, compliant operations.

The role requires API 510 certification and manufacturing engineering experience, onsite work in Brookings with potential relocation support and up to 10% travel. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) AND two (2) years of manufacturing engineering experience

OR

• Associate's Degree/Technical Diploma (completed and verified prior to start) AND four (4) years of manufacturing engineering experience

OR

• High School Diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start) AND six (6) years of manufacturing engineering experience

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• API 510 certification

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) certification
• EPA 608 certification or the ability to obtain certification
• Experience applying reliability analysis, predictive maintenance (PdM), and preventative maintenance (PM) methodologies
• Experience participating in and/or leading cross-functional teams
• Experience supporting chemical process safety, mechanical integrity programs, and/or OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements.
• Experience applying API 570, API 653, API 580/581, risk-based inspection (RBI), or related inspection methodologies
• Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and inspection data management tools
• Experience supporting capital projects, plant infrastructure upgrades, turnarounds, and/or maintenance shutdowns
• Experience conducting root cause analysis, failure analysis, and/or reliability improvement studies
• Experience communicating technical information through verbal discussions, presentations, and written communications with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels

Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $106,000 - $145,750, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
