Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in building common areas (vacuuming, mopping, restrooms, restocking supplies).
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and break rooms, offices, and other common areas.
• Cleans and sanitizes company houses as needed.
• Maintains custodial equipment and supplies; reports needs and concerns.
• Empties trash, disposes in compactors or dumpsters, bags trash.
• Unlocks doors and ensures doors are locked after cleaning.
• Updates staff and may submit or check work orders; monitors supply levels.
• Promotes safety and environmental practices; supports continuous improvement.
• Trains new staff on routine procedures; assists with seasonal/project needs.
• May assist vendors with access and report issues to supervisor.
• May assist snow removal or minor maintenance tasks (bulbs, pipes, etc.).
• Maintains clean janitor’s room and stock supplies; checks for safety hazards.
• Participates in efficiency improvements as part of company culture.
• Contributes to Food Safety and Food Quality.

We are proud to promote an equal employment opportunity workplace.**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**• Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of the building, including vacuuming, mopping, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies.• Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and break room areas, including office spaces, and other common areas.• Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing company houses as needed.• Performs routine maintenance to custodial equipment and supplies.• Empties trash receptacles, disposes trash into compactors and/or dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal.• Unlock doors, ensuring doors are locked after cleaning areas.• Reports needs and concerns to appropriate staff, which may include submitting or recommending work orders and checking supply levels.• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.• Assists in on-the-job training of new staff on routine procedures.• Performs cleaning functions specific to the assigned facilities and/or based on seasonal/project requirements.• May provide vendors with access to areas for cleaning and may answer basic questions.
