Onboard New Team members by conducting new member trainings.
Job Duties
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for employees at all levels and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and continuous learning opportunities to promote skill development and career growth.
- In collaboration with subject matter experts, ensure training compliance and tracks completion of relevant regularity rules and standards, including federal, state, and local regulations; and company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and adherence to compliance requirements.
- Organizes, tracks, reports, and maintains accurate training records using Whole Foods Market’s learning systems.
- Works within training deadlines and goals.
- Attend Team Trainer meetings, as scheduled.
- Acts as a role model for constant food safety, sanitation procedures, and occupational safety.
- Consistently practices, models proper care, and use of all PPE and equipment.
- Completes Team Trainer Certification and other assigned training, when available.
- Familiarizes themselves with the Team Trainer Playbook and maintains engagement with all communication platform.
- Partner with FSQA team to ensure GMP training for new hires and recurring annual refresher training is tracked and complete.
- Partner with safety team and conducts equipment safety training for new hires.
- Alerts TLs to trainings due and renewal training of powered industrial truck (PIT) training for forklift operators and PIT operators
- Works cross functionally with other sites and store support for alignment of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across sites, when possible.
- Manage Team Member-facing communication boards located throughout the facility.
- Oversee the facility visitor sign-in system and provide support to maintain required electronic recordkeeping, when applicable.
- Responsible for document control numbering system for site SOPs.
- Responsible for organization of the site filing system, including shared files or SharePoint.

- General computer skills and basic knowledge of software applications (MS Office Suite).

Experience
- 6-12 months retail experience.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- In an 8-hour workday: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
- Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation pushing, and pulling.
- Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
- Exposure to temperatures: less than 32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezers), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), greater than 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Ability to work in wet and/or cold environments.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
The wage range for this position is $27.00-$45.50 Hourly, commensurate with experience.
