Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking a Facility Traffic Coordinator in Pompano Beach, FL. You will direct the flow of customer vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment, inspect loads, assist customers, and coordinate with operators to ensure safe, efficient site operations.

The role emphasizes safety, environmental stewardship, and strong customer service. Experience in waste/industrial environments and bilingual abilities are a plus.

Competenze

• One or more years of experience in construction, waste and recycling, transportation, manufacturing, warehousing, industrial operations, or another physically demanding environment.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stay alert and make sound decisions in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail.

Mansioni

• Coordinate the safe directional flow of customer vehicles, commercial trucks, and heavy equipment throughout the facility.
• Direct incoming traffic to disposal locations based on material type and needs.
• Perform visual inspections of loads to identify hazardous or prohibited materials.
• Communicate with heavy equipment operators and leadership on loads needing special handling.
• Monitor traffic patterns to ensure safe movement of vehicles.
• Assist customers with disposal procedures and provide professional service.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions, environmental concerns, or equipment issues.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas through housekeeping and site maintenance.
• Follow safety policies, environmental regulations and procedures.
