Job summary

Sysco International Food Group, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Facility Technician to support safe operation, daily monitoring, and maintenance of the facility and its material handling equipment.

You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and general building tasks to keep systems running smoothly and safely. Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, four years of industrial facility experience, and the ability to obtain a Powered Industrial Equipment Certification

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED is required.
Four years of industrial facility experience is required.
Refrigeration Operator I / RETA CARO credentials are preferred.
Ability to obtain a Powered Industrial Equipment Certification within 3 months.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on material handling equipment and dock systems.
Conduct general building maintenance including carpentry, plumbing, electrical tasks, and lighting.
Log time and materials in CMMS daily and support on-call safety duties.
Assist in safety compliance and OSHA regulations, supporting emergency responses as needed.
Lead special projects related to building or grounds maintenance.
