Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector seeks an experienced Facility Technician to support the Light House Program in Keswick, Virginia. The role requires presence at the site five days per week with a focus on readiness, reliability, and continuity of critical facilities and networks.

The position involves 12-hour rotating shifts, potential disaster recovery assignments, and maintaining certifications including HAZMAT PPE. A TS/SCI clearance and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in building/facility mechanics and electrical systems.
• Experience in building infrastructure equipment including generators, PDU, UPS, ATS, HVAC, etc.
• Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
• Minimum education HS Diploma.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; eligible to drive AT&T vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide escort services during contractor visits.
• Support readiness, reliability, and survivability of facilities during emergencies or crises.
• Work entails 12-hour rotating shifts and callouts for disaster recovery requirements.
• Maintain certification and proficiency with HAZMAT PPE equipment and operations.

AT&T has an opening for a Facility Technician to support the Light House Program, in providing 24x7x365 Facility Technicians. This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

Job Duties

• Provide escort services during contractor visits.
• This position is of a small team that supports our customer to ensure readiness, reliability, and survivability of facilities during times of emergency or crisis such as natural disasters, and nation emergencies.
• Work entails 12 hour rotating shift as well as callouts and temporary assignments in response to disaster recovery requirements.
• Candidates are required to maintain certification and proficiency with HAZMAT type PPE equipment and operations.
• Candidates must support a 7X24X365 readiness posture, which could include extended periods of time in potentially hazardous environments.
• Candidate will maintain critical network operations support for facilities/equipment.
• Performs routine and interim maintenance on all facility equipment.
• Ensure compliance of all federal, state, and local environmental laws.
• Aid site management for projects in the facility.
• Maintain required qualification and special certifications as mandated by AT&T.

Clearance

Clearable - Able to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI. (#clearable) (#ts/sci)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in building/facility mechanics and electrical systems.
• Experience in building infrastructure equipment to include, but not limited to generators, power distribution units (PDU), uninterruptible power systems (UPS), automatic transfer switches (ATS), HVAC, etc.
• Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
• Minimum education HS Diploma.
• In order to be considered for this position, you must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record and be eligible to drive an AT&T company vehicle.
