Job summary

Responsibilities include operating and monitoring mechanical plant, performing preventive maintenance on electro/mechanical systems, overseeing contractors, performing minor repairs, and ensuring safety and timely work orders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in operations of building systems, including swimming pools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate with internal and external customers.
• Clear driving record and valid Texas Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Operates and monitors facility mechanical plant and reports malfunctions to supervisor.
• Provides support to YMCA technicians during preventive maintenance of systems.
• Performs preventive maintenance on fitness equipment and coordinates repairs with outside resource.
• Performs routine maintenance of pool and spas and makes chemical adjustments as required.
• Oversee work of outside maintenance and cleaning service contractors.
