About the Position
The Facility Technician is an entry-level position that conducts proactive/reactive maintenance on buildings, building systems and/or vehicles. This position's work will vary from day-to-day and may include, but is not limited to conducting routine maintenance on HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) systems, hydraulic systems, compressed air systems, portable/test/wastewater systems, vehicle oil/filter changes, brake replacement, etc.

Primary Responsibilities
Required Education and Experience
• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience working in a maintenance role.
• Experience with maintenance of buildings, building systems and/or motorized vehicle maintenance/repair.
• Experience with well water systems, desired.
Skills and Abilities
• Knowledge/skill in trade such as HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Heavy Equipment, etc.
• Basic computer skills (including Microsoft Word and Excel).
• Attention to detail.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Mechanical and/or chemical aptitude.
• Ability to perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time.
• Valid driver's license.
