Job summary

TekWissen is seeking a Facility Technician for an 11-month assignment in Bartlesville, OK. This onsite role requires performing scheduled maintenance and repairs on electrical, mechanical and related systems to ensure safe, cost-effective facility operation.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, inspections, BMS and fire/life safety system oversight, safety compliance, and coordinating facility management services to optimize productivity and asset value.

Qualifications

• Maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical systems to ensure safe operation.
• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs per codes and standards.
• Inspect facilities and report conditions affecting operations.
• Familiar with BMS and fire/life safety systems.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and site regulations.
• Coordinate facility management services and audits.

• Prepare contract scope and specifications for FM works.
• Administer facility service agreements and maintenance contracts.
• Ensure consistent facility standards and site-base audits.
• Coordinate campaigns to maintain a professional facility image.

Job Description

• The Facility Technician is responsible for performing scheduled maintenance and repair of installed electrical, mechanical and other systems to ensure cost-effective, safe operation of an assigned facility with a view to long-term preservation of the asset value.
• Perform ongoing preventative maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical and other installed systems in compliance with local codes and standards.
• Perform facility inspections and report on conditions affecting operations.
• Understand equipment and methods of operations, BMS systems, and fire and life safety systems.
• Comply with all safety procedures and requirements; comply with local, country and other ordinances and codes.
• Plan and direct facility management (FM) services, including facility operating systems, maintenance processes, repair and improvement, custodial services and security operations.
• Coordinate maintenance activities within the functions and departments to optimize the productivity and utilization of personnel and equipment.
• Recommend operating methods and equipment to reduce FM costs through new sources, substitutions, improved systems or methods, service quality and safety.
• Coordinate preparation of contract scope and specifications.
• Administer facility service agreements for maintenance.
• Ensure consistent implementation of standards for clean and tidy facilities and support operations through site-base auditing.
• Coordinate campaigns for implementing the standard professional facility image.
