Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Facility Technician I to perform warehouse duties safely, including loading/unloading trucks, preparing waste shipments, reconciling inventory, and maintaining housekeeping. The role emphasizes compliance with waste storage procedures and safe work practices to protect colleagues and the environment.

Key responsibilities include handling route trucks, preparing loads for shipment, and overseeing inventory receiving processes while ensuring a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience and familiarity with Excel, Word, etc.
• 1+ year of related labor and computer experience.
• Ability to drive trucks within facility.
• Forklift skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that health and safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Load and unload route trucks.
• Prepare waste loads for shipment to the Recycle Center or Distribution Center.
• Manage inventory order and receiving process.
• General housekeeping and keep a clean work area.
• Ensure waste is stored in a safe and proper manner.
