Job summary

2020FIT in Prairie Village, KS is seeking a Facility Team Lead to run our upkeep and ensure a clean, safe space for members. You will lead a small facility team, schedule cleaning and maintenance, and address issues before they affect members.

You'll conduct daily inspections, coordinate with contractors for bigger jobs, and uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety as we scale our gym community.

Qualifications

• Experience in facility, maintenance, or ops background a plus — not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily walkthroughs to verify cleanliness, organization, equipment function, and safety.
• Handle small fixes and schedule routine equipment checks; coordinate with outside contractors for bigger jobs.

Lead the facility team

• Direct and coordinate cleaning and maintenance staff — set the schedule, assign tasks, hold the standard.
• Be the first point of contact for facility issues so they get solved fast.

• Run daily and weekly walkthroughs for cleanliness, organization, equipment function, and safety — log and triage what you find.
• Maintain amenities — locker rooms, showers, common areas — to a high standard.

• Handle small fixes yourself and schedule routine equipment checks.
• Line up and manage outside contractors for bigger jobs; Escalate major items to the GM.

Safety & compliance

• Conduct periodic safety inspections and correct hazards promptly.
• Enforce facility policies for cleanliness and safety.
