Job summary

The Dynamic Fitness is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality across our club facilities and equipment. You will coordinate with the Director of Facilities and District Team to ensure optimal member experiences and operational reliability.

Responsibilities include daily facility tasks, safety compliance, and coordinating with external vendors for repairs. A background in health-club maintenance and strong organizational skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of company policies, emergency procedures, and safety regulations.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Highly organized, able to handle a multi-task environment.
• General understanding of computer skills (Email, Excel, Word).
• Technical skills in equipment and building maintenance. HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing experience is a plus.
• Experience in maintenance, mechanical, or facilities roles, preferably in health club maintenance.

• Follow and enforce policies for efficient facility management.
• Inspect facilities daily, promptly addressing maintenance & equipment needs.
• Follow and enforce safety protocols by members and staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Complete facility improvement projects, coordinating with the Director of Facilities and external contractors.
• Conduct and complete routine equipment maintenance to ensure proper functioning.
• Perform regular inspections and complete repairs or replacements as scheduled.
• Address member concerns related to facilities/equipment promptly.
• Collaborate with club teams to ensure a positive member experience.
• Maintain clear communication with staff, management, and members.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on facility operations.
• Aid in fostering a positive working environment.
• Help identify, establish, and manage external vendors related to facilities and equipment needs.
• Attend and participate in meetings as necessary or assigned.

Organizational Relationship

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Exposure to pool chemicals, cleaning supplies, periodic grease/oil, and dust.
• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.

• Extended workdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.
