Job summary

ColonialWebb is seeking a dependable Facility Support Technician to help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient manufacturing facility in Richmond, VA. You’ll assist with basic maintenance, minor repairs, and preventive tasks, supporting a busy shop environment with a hands-on approach.

Ideal candidates have basic mechanical aptitude, a high school diploma or GED, and experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or general labor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and experience using hand or power tools.
• Manufacturing, maintenance, construction, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic facility and equipment maintenance.
• Perform minor repairs, painting, and general building upkeep.
• Support preventive maintenance tasks and help keep equipment in working order.
• Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
• Move materials, tools, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, and safety hazards.
• Follow company safety procedures and use required PPE.
• Help with facility projects and continuous improvement efforts.

Position Summary

It’s a good fit for someone with mechanical aptitude who enjoys hands‑on work and supporting a busy shop environment.
