South Bow is seeking a Facility Support Summer Student to assist the US Asset Operations team in the safe, reliable, and environmentally responsible operation and maintenance of crude oil pump stations and pipeline facilities. The four-month term begins May 2027, with supervision from qualified personnel.

The role does not include safety-sensitive or operator-qualified work performed independently. You'll help with inspections, maintenance support, documentation, and administrative tasks while

Formación

• Actively enrolled in a post-secondary program or technical school in Engineering, Science, Trades, or related discipline.
• Provide transcripts upon application.
• Complete pre-employment medical screening including drug and alcohol testing.
• Have and maintain a valid driver's license and provide a driver's abstract.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a field team.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to perform assigned outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to wear required PPE.

Responsabilidades

• Assist qualified technicians with routine pump station inspections and checks.
• Learn purpose and operation of crude oil pipeline equipment, including pumps, valves, actuators, piping, instrumentation.
• Assist with visual inspections for leaks, corrosion, abnormal equipment conditions, housekeeping issues, and other observable concerns.
• Immediately report unusual conditions, leaks, odors, alarms, equipment damage, or potential hazards.
• Help organize tools, materials, supplies, spare parts, and maintenance areas.
• Under direct supervision, assist with non-qualified maintenance activities such as basic equipment cleaning.
• Facility and equipment housekeeping.
• Preparing tools and materials for maintenance.
• Assisting with routine inspection activities.
• Updating equipment identification, labels, or records as assigned.
• Assist with updating maintenance records and equipment documentation.
• Help organize drawings, manuals, procedures, and equipment records.
• Assist with inventory and material counts.
• Participate in appropriate operations and maintenance training.
